About the Department

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in the year 2008. This Department has all the required staff and infrastructure necessary to carve a successful Computer Science Engineer of an international standard.

To be an excellent Computer Engineer with analyzing and manageable skill in Computer Hardware, Networking, Software Profession and Entrepreneurship through latest trends, technologies and socio ethics.

Mission

To develop Computer Engineers as Computer Hardware, Networking, Software Professionals and Entrepreneur by providing skill oriented training in industry standards.
To apply the fundamental concepts of analytical capability and problem solving techniques in Computer Hardware, Networking and Software Programming.
To develop our department as a Center of excellence by imparting quality education, generating competent and learning skilled people in the field of Computer Engineering.
To promote organizational and leadership skills for our Computer Engineers through effective communication and various extra-curricular and co-curricular activities by providing opportunities in the latest trends in Computer Engineering.

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

The Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) of the Department of Computer Engineering are given below:

PEO 1	Identify, analyze and solve problems in Computer Engineering by using the knowledge in the advanced technologies.
PEO 2	Assemble the computer system, Troubleshoot, Service and Maintenance, Computer Networking, Programming, Database Administrator and to pursue their higher studies to succeed in their Profession.
PEO 3	Function productively and professionally possess critical thinking, communication skills, Team work, Leadership skills and Ethical behaviour.
PEO 4	Become recognized Professional Engineers with demonstrated commitment to Life-Long Learning and continuous self-improvement in order to respond to the rapid changes in Computer Engineering.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs)

PSO1	Ability to use the basic knowledge of mathematics and fundamental concepts of Computer Hardware, Networking and Software for a productive career as well as the needs of the industry concerns by the students.
PSO2	Ability to solve the problems in Computer Hardware, Networking, basic design of the Computer Networking by using various tools and technologies and also Software Programming in various languages.
PSO3	Ability to utilize latest technology and platforms to become a successful Networking, Hardware Professional, Software Developer, Web application Designer, Programmer, Database Administrator, Entrepreneur and an urge for pursuing higher studies.

Infrastructure

The Department provides Lab resources for Education. In this Department 60 Systems are available with licensed software and printers for all Practical. High Speed Internet access is available for all staffs and students to update their knowledge.

Laboratory Facilities

The Department is well equipped with 3 Laboratories including for the Diploma students installed with a variety of software catering to the needs of the students and covering the curriculum specified in the Syllabus.

Electronics and Computer Hardware Lab

The Electronics lab is equipped with various equipment's like Digital Trainer Kit, CRO, Ammeter, Voltmeter, which help the students to get a hands on training related to their syllabus.

Hardware and Networking Lab

Hardware and Networking Lab is equipped with computers and networking devices which help the students to gain basic knowledge of Hardware and Networking.

Programming Lab

The lab is equipped with the latest and advanced Software's and other utility packages. Students get exposure to the latest Software applications which helps them to develop the programming skills.
